Businesses & Badges is a Pearland Police Department program headed by PPD's Community Outreach division to establish and build relationships between Pearland businesses and the Pearland Police Department.

Learn crime safety and prevention tips, about our Pearland PD, and more while our officers learn about your business. 

How Does Businesses & Badges Work?

1. Inquire. Interested businesses fill out an inquiry form showing your interest in participating in Businesses & Badges.
2. Consult. One of our Community Outreach officers will give you a call or send an email to set a date/time, walk you through what the appointment will look like and answer any of your questions. 
3. Show and Tell. On the day of the appointment, our officers will arrive at your business, introduce themselves, and learn all about your day to day and get a glimpse of it takes to run your business. In exchange, our officers will walk you through their day to day provide crime safety and crime prevention tips.

In addition, both parties benefit from having candid, face-to-face conversations with one another, and learn something new.
