Setting Up Water Service
(For Residential accounts only. To set up water service for Commercial accounts, please click here to complete the form and email to utilityservice@pearlandtx.gov). If commercial, a company letter head, and tax ID number is required to start services. The letter head must provide the service information, location/service address, date of agreement, and contact information.)
Welcome Home! We're glad you have chosen Pearland. As our tagline reads, you're in the right place. Applications for new service may be completed online or in person. Once the form has been submitted, new customers can complete the process by emailing the required documents if not submitted with the application, and make the deposit and new account fee payment online by visiting this link, using a Visa, Discover, or Master Card debit/credit card. You can also register for water service in the Utility Billing department, located in the City Hall Annex (3523 Liberty Drive).
For next business day service activation, applications, required documents and deposit must be received by 4 p.m. Applications received after 4 p.m. will be processed and activated within 2 business days.
Same day service is available by contacting our office by 4 p.m. and the same day fee of $100. After 4 p.m., an additional fee, $100 after hours is required. To ensure the appropriate location, the following documents must be received to activate services:

A copy of the Driver's License/Government Issued ID of each person listed on lease/settlement page.

A copy of the settlement page from your title company or closing disclosure.

A copy of your current lease (1st and last page with signatures)
For your convenience, you can email the required documents to utilityservice@pearlandtx.gov. Proof of ID/DL must be sent by email if services are requested online. You may also deliver the documentation to our office located at 3523 Liberty Dr. Please note, services will not be activated until all required documentation is received along with the application and deposit/connection fee. Any changes to received requests, may be assessed another $30 processing fee.
Note: Your application will be deleted, and you will need to complete a new application if your supporting documentation is not received within 48 hours of your application being submitted.

Terminating Water Service
We love our customers, but we understand that not everyone can live in Pearland forever. Termination forms can be completed online, via phone at 281.652.1603, or accepted via email at ubtermination@pearlandtx.gov. Please include your name, address, date of termination and a forwarding address on the email requests. Last four-digits of ID/DL will be required for termination and must be included in the email. Termination date will be changed if required information is received to a later date. To avoid involuntary termination, payments must be rendered as of the due date on the billing statements.
Termination requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to termination requested date, and no more than 10 days prior to the termination requested date. Any changes to received requests, may be assessed another $30 processing fee. All requests are processed Monday through Friday, except City holidays. All requests must be received by the primary account holder to process.
