Duties

Operating under the council-manager form of local government, the City Manager is appointed by the City Council serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Pearland. Responsibilities include staff organizational management, personnel appointment and removal, preparation and execution of the City budget, as well as administration of City Ordinances and policies adopted by the City Council.
