Personal:
Rushi Patel is a highly accomplished real estate developer and business strategist, known for his unwavering dedication to excellence and his invaluable contributions to the hospitality and development industries. With over two decades of experience, Rushi has consistently demonstrated his expertise in business planning, financing, negotiation, and operations management.

Education and Professional Background: 

Rushi earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of South Carolina in 1998. He further honed his skills by obtaining a Master of Taxation from the same university graduating in 1999. Following his education, Rushi embarked on a successful journey, initially as an Audit & Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he gained invaluable insights into financial analysis, tax planning, and compliance. 

Real Estate Ventures: 

In 2001, Rushi co-founded Omkar Enterprises Mgmt, LLC, a pioneering real estate development firm that has left an indelible mark on the industry. Throughout his tenure as a Partner, Rushi played a pivotal role in envisioning, planning, and executing several noteworthy projects.

Some of his remarkable ventures include:

• Hampton Inn by Hilton in Pearland, TX (61 rooms) - Opened in 2003, becoming only the second hotel in Pearland.
• SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Katy, TX (69 suites) - Opened in 2005, marking the first hotel of its kind in Katy.
• SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Pearland, TX (91 suites) - Opened in 2007, setting new standards for hospitality in the area.
• SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Seabrook, TX (88 suites) - Opened in 2010, bringing a fresh hospitality experience to Seabrook.
• Courtyard by Marriott in Lake Jackson, TX (116 rooms with Conference Center) – Opened in 2017, bring higher quality to Lake Jackson.

Additionally, Rushi's commitment to innovation continues with ongoing projects, such as the Home2 Suites by Hilton and another SpringHill Suites by Marriott, both in Lake Jackson, TX, which will be integral parts of the master plan development of Lake Jackson Town Center. 

Community Involvement:  

Rushi Patel's contributions extend beyond business, as he believes in giving back to the communities that have supported his ventures. He has actively served on various boards and committees, fostering economic growth and enriching the lives of residents in the region. 

Notable board positions include: 

• Past Chairman of the Pearland Economic Development Corporation
• Member of the HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland Board
• Active involvement with Pearland Municipal Management District No. 2
• Former member of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau
• Dedicated service to the Adult Reading Center and City of Pearland Charter Review Commission
• Moody Bank (Advisory Board)
• Pearland Chamber of Commerce
