As a public service, the City of Pearland will provide you with the following information upon request:

• Access to and copies of the current Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) showing the approximate location of the subject property.
• Benchmark information for land surveyor/engineer use in floodplain status determination.
• We have a handout on the flood insurance purchase requirement that can help people who need a mortgage or loan for a property in the SFHA.

If you would like to make an inquiry, please call us at 281.652.1637 or drop by the Engineering Department (in the Community Center, next to City Hall). We are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please ask to speak to the Floodplain Administrator. There is no charge for this service.
