A 23-year-old female that gained internet infamy for stealing packages from a porch in Pearland has been arrested. On December 1st 2016 Pearland Police responded to a past theft of packages.

The City of Pearland is stepping up its efforts to meet the needs of residents with mental illness. As part of that effort, Pearland Police Chief J.C. Doyle implemented an initiative that requires Mental Health Peace Officer training for all Pearland Police Department officers in an effort to more effectively serve the City and its residents.
