The Pearland Police Department Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is a data-driven, proactive investigative unit within the Criminal Investigations Division. SIU is tasked with identifying trends and suspects who are participating in repeated criminal enterprises, fugitive apprehension, and the resolution of ongoing quality of life issues within the City of Pearland.  SIU partners with crime analysts, PPD officers and Detectives, other City of Pearland Departments, and neighboring police jurisdictions in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.
