The Nature Trail provides an extension of the Parks and Recreation Department Trail System and provides a location for environmental education, augmenting existing programs by the Parks Department and neighboring Keep Pearland Beautiful and the outdoor education component of the future Nature Center, which is to be located in at the JHEC property and is currently funded in the FY 2016 Capital Improvement Program.
