FIRE STATION 2 CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULED TO BEGIN SOON
Fire Station 2 construction will soon begin. Once constructed, the station will be a 10,726-square-foot station to house one 4-person Engine Crew, one 4-person Ladder Crew and one 2-person Ambulance Crew.

CITY'S POPULATION REACHES MORE THAN 108,000
As of July 2014, the City of Pearland's population reached 108,800 residents, an increase of 2,300 over the past six months. The last population estimate from the U.S. Census Bureau was in July 2013 and estimated Pearland's population at 100,065.

LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS GRADUATE FROM PEARLAND FIRE ACADEMY
