Water meters are read monthly, and each account is billed based on City Council approved rates and the consumption from the previous to the current monthly water meter reading.

Your water bill is calculated based on the Monthly Usage stated on your water bill (see #4 below) and illustrated under Current Charges (#5).

How to Calculate Your Water Bill

In the event a water meter becomes inoperable, unable to read the meter’s register for billing usage, the customer will be notified and the account will be charged at the average monthly consumption based on the previous 12 months of usage or same time of previous year.

(2) Your account and bill information
(3) Messages regarding billing and City information
(4) Water and sewer usage based on billing cycle's bill schedule
(5) Detailed charges by rate tier and dollar amounts
(6) Total amount of current charges
(7) Overall bill summary reflecting total amount due
