Did you know that birding has become a popular outdoor activity, enjoyed by approximately 85 million Americans. Brazoria County has more bird species than any other area in North America! Birding has become a popular outdoor activity, enjoyed by approximately 85 million Americans. Participants will learn how to select binoculars and field guides, how to identify birds using field marks, songs and behavior; and ways to get more involved watching birds in the community. Participants will go on several field trips in the local Pearland area, so you can practice your skills!
