General Contractors

  • Certificate of Insurance*

Electrical Contractors

  • Certificate of Insurance
  • State of Texas Master License
Minimum Insurance Requirements:
  1. Workers' Compensation Insurance in accordance with Texas state law.
  2. Comprehensive general liability insurance coverage with limits of not less than $750,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and $250,000 per occurrence for property damage with coverages extended as follows:
    1. Operations-premises liability;

    2. Independent contractor's liability-Broad form;

    3. Contractual liability-Broad form;

    4. Completed operations and products liability.

Mechanical Contractors

  • Certificate of Insurance*
  • State of Texas Master License

Plumbing Contractors

  • Certificate of Insurance*
  • State of Texas Master License

Irrigation Contractors

  • Certificate of Insurance*
  • State of Texas Master License
(Irrigation permits require a permit application, drawings with a watering schedule in PDF format on a CD/USB)

Sign Contractors

  • Certificate of Insurance*
  • State of Texas Sign Master License
(required for electrical work on signs or a separate permit must be pulled by a State of Texas Master electrician)

* Except for electrical contractors, Certificates of Insurance must show a minimum of $300,000 General Liability Insurance and list the City of Pearland as certificate holder.
