OpenCounter will ask you a variety of questions about your proposed project. Using your responses, a summary of requirements and fees is generated. Why does OpenCounter matter?
Fostering a transparent and understandable development process is priority of staff and elected officials in the City of Pearland. OpenCounter is just one of several ways we work to make that priority a reality. Originally launched to help small businesses get started, we quickly realized that OpenCounter is a valuable resource for not only commercial projects, but residential too. Since its implementation in June of 2021 OpenCounter has assisted over 10,000 people researching a wide range of development projects. OpenCounter also allows staff to monitor development trends and create submittal resources specific to our communities needs.
