Community Development
Community Development is composed of four divisions: Planning, Permits, Development Services, and Administration. Our goal is to improve the environment and quality of life in Pearland by establishing and implementing quality standards for new development. We do this by encouraging maintenance, preservation and reinvestment in older parts of the city, as well as making sure all new development is in line with the community's high standards and the most up-to-date technology.
