After growing up in Pearland, Mr. Coker served as a public educator for 9 years, and subsequently obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1995. Mr. Coker began working for the City as an Assistant City Attorney in 1997, and the City Council appointed him to the position of City Attorney in 1998 where he continues to serve the City and its citizens.
