High development activity continued, with the total reported valuation of all construction projects permitted in the second quarter amounting to $192 million. Planning staff reviewed 41 site plans, 175 commercial build-outs and tenant occupancy permits, 68 sign permits and 207 residential permits. Permit reviews resulted in 88 site inspections. The second quarter of FY 2017 also saw 22 permits issued for commercial additions/alterations, 20 build-outs and 8 new commercial buildings for a total reported valuation of more than $55,450,000.
